A few weeks ago Sea World's official twitter page (@SeaWorld_Parks) sent on a twitter invite to its 4,500+ followers. The invite allowed the first 75 followers to RSVP to come down to the park on June 24th for FREE! I immediately jumped aboard this opportunity, Sea World even allowed us to bring one guest. I sent the link of to my followers and to the rest of Florida Thrills and started planning my trip. There are rumors swirling all around the internet about a possible new Busch Gardens Tampa roller coaster in 2011, among other things. First some facts that I know: we watch permits pretty closely and so far there have been no new filings for Busch Gardens. Until a permit is filed, you will not see any construction on anything, even if it is completely related to anything that gets most of you excited.

One of our reporters went to Busch Gardens Tampa this morning and informed us Busch Gardens is testing a new Quick Queue pass this week. The Ultimate Quick Queue offers unlimited uses on participating attractions. This pass is priced at $40, $35 for pass holders, and is limited in stock. The pass is available for purchase December 26 through New Year's Eve.
