      We’re running a little behind due to my mini vacation at Megacon 2013, for photos from that check out Figments Media, anyway over spring break I picked up an annual pass to Legoland using their new Florida Resident offer of $100. This pass is good all year long for any Merlin entertainment property in the United States including Legoland California.       The Force is even Stronger with LEGOLAND Florida as the brand new Star Wars MiniLand opened up on November 09. Featuring iconic scenes from each feature film and the Clone Wars TV series the Star Wars Miniland has something for everyone.

      The newest expansion of Legoland Florida, The Star Wars Miniland, is approaching completion for the grand opening on November 9. The massive LEGO Star Wars models such as the Lambda Shuttle, an iconic spacecraft found in Episode VI Return of the Jedi, arrived at LEGOLAND Florida and model builders are busy making final adjustments and constructing the animations that are being installed in Miniland USA’s new cluster, LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Display.

      Legoland Florida is expanding once again and this November the Force will be located in Mini-land. The Star Wars Universe will be coming as announced at to the media and blogging community on Thursday morning at the park, and this is after a handful of enhancements to the park including the Legoland Water park and the green house all of which happened during the first year of operation which made it into a multi-day destination for families.



      Shown off at the media event was the first two figures built. A Millennium Falcon model built out of 19,234 Lego bricks as well as a giant Darth Maul figurine.

(July 16, 2012) – Despite rising ticket prices at other major Central Florida attractions, LEGOLAND® Florida today announced it will keep its prices steady through the summer at $75 for adults and $65 for children under 12.       The brand new LEGOLAND Water park at LEGOLAND Florida is scheduled to open to guests Saturday May 26, 2012 and is going to look amazing. What was once the Splash Island water park at Cypress Gardens is currently in the midst of a transformation with brand new Lego inspired decor. The new water park is an up-charge extension of the LEGOLAND Florida park costing an additional $12 on the base ticket price, the best way to experience it is with a premium annual pass.

      On Monday January 24 LEGOLAND Florida invited the local media to tour the water park and to see what was in store for park guests later that summer.
