• Bands, Brew, Sesame, and Pat Benatar

      The grills have been turned off and this year’s Bands, Brew and BBQ have come to a close. Last Sunday we attended the final concert which featured Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. Before and after the concert, we explored the park and took a handful of photos showing the latest changes at the park.       In the entrance plaza, Busch Gardens has parked a safari truck to get more attention for the Safari Tour, and also kept the listing of closed attractions up to date. Meanwhile, inside the park, a sign advertising the Insider Tour for Katonga is located near the theater.


      The new Animal Connections appears to be doing well; they have been adding photos of guests who have done the experience. Meanwhile at the history exhibit, the mentions of the park being 50 have been removed while keeping most of the exhibit intact, though it could be updated to include 2010.


      There is a topiary frame sitting in the old Clydesdale walking trail that looks like either a panther or a cheetah. The main walkway from Rhino Rally to Timbuktu needs to be widened since it gets too crowded during elephant trainer time. Also the wood cutter vendor has reopened.


      Stanley Falls is down for refurbishment, some newer signs, to me at least, around Gwazi.
