      The three of the former Universal 360 "Movie Ball" barges were recently completely disassembled and pieced back together in a rectangular shape sporting new hardware including tresses and pipping. This work has made the barges look nothing like their former selves. Inside the lagoon new boies have been spotted which is believed to be where the barges will eventually lie.

      In the corner a fourth barge was found tethered to a boat, mostly unchanged. what purpose this fourth barge will have is unknown.


      What we can tell is the three modified barges will play host to some kind of water effect, possibly creating a screen which can be project upon. Screamscape recently posted a link to one of the manufacturers, Aquatique Show Intl. involved with the project which led to this conclusion as well.

      Meanwhile in a possibly related note the backside of Richters is being refurbished with a piece of the building removed.

        I've heard online rumors that there might be a new lagoon show in the works. Those pictures seem to support that rumor.

        Also, I'm thinking maybe they might have to build another bridge across the water, if the Jaws/Simpsons bridge will be blocked off during Amity area construction. What do you think?

        I know if Amity will be completely blocked off at disaster's exit they will need another way to get people around, but they may not build a bridge as it's not so much a dead end like IOA was when lost continent was closed off for potter... leaving JP as huge dead end if it wasn't for that auxiliary bridge. I did notice the positioning of the boies does seem to reflect no viewing from amity though.
