Disney World Day 4, Part 2

After riding a bus from the Magic Kingdom, we arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios about 15 minutes later. We had Fast Passes for the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania. Heather and I failed to convince Taylor to join us on the Tower of Terror, so it was just the two of us riding. With the Fast Pass, it took about 15 minutes to get on our elevator. It had been a few years since I had ridden and it was Heather’s first time. I had forgotten how sneakily they raise you to the top by luring you in with the video presentation. It was a very fun and enjoyable ride with some great air time. Heather enjoyed it as well despite so nerves before riding.

Next, we decided to wait for Toy Story Mania because the line said only 35 minutes and our Fast Pass wasn’t until late afternoon. Line ended taking around an hour. It’s a shame they removed the Mr. Potato Head interactive display. Jonathan would have loved it. I held Jonathan on the ride and wasn’t very good at the games with only one hand. Rebecca got the highest score of everyone in the group and obtained bragging rights.

After riding, we left the cousins in Hollywood Studios to head back to the hotel via the Friendship boats. Upon arriving, we first took a quick dip in Stormalong Bay. Then we got ready for the night and headed to Epcot for some dinner. We grabbed some chicken tacos and nachos at La Cantina de San Angel within Mexico. The food here rivals that of the other Mexican restaurants in Epcot for a fraction of the price.

After dinner, we stumbled upon a very neat butterfly exhibit. We will have a separate article with more photos about this later on. One highlight was Rebecca catching a butterfly on her finger. Jonathan was mesmerized as you can see in the photo above! After spending some time in the exhibit, we headed over to the Seas with Nemo and Friends. There was no wait; just the time to traverse the rather long queue area. Again, Jonathan really loved following Nemo along the way. We closed the night by looking at a few of the smaller aquariums with the Sea before walking back to Beaches and Cream at the hotel to grab a quick ice cream cone.
