Interesting, I will be sure to check this out when i get time.
Hi everyone!
Just a heads up on Amusement Radio. Almost everything is together, and the station has performed a soft opening. So we are open, but small problems are expected, as we get into 24/7 service.
You can all listen at http://amusementradio.com, and get all your amusement talk entertainment in one place.
To start with, Season Pass, Behind The Thrills and Coastin' East podcasts, have agreed to let Amusement Radio play their shows on the air.
Comments are appreciated!
As for the official opening, the date I have in mind is Friday the 16th, starting around 7:30-8pm, with some special stuff starting at 7:15pm. What is the opening? It will be a live show with myself talking about Amusement Radio, and time permitting, some amusement park items. As for all the live shows, listener feedback is encouraged with a few ways of communication during the show(AIM, MSN, Chatroom, and email), currently I don't have a way to use Skype for voice feed-back during the show.
Probably more details latter, Thanks for reading!

This is it! At 7:45 Amusement Radio will go live with our first show! I don't have that much to cover during this show, so listener feedback is more then welcome!
Again, the website is http://amusementradio.com and we now have more ways to listen instead of just the flash player.
Tonight at 7:45 is the second episode of Amusement Radio live.
This show should be longer, as the problems that plagued the show last week should be resolved.
The second edition of the morning show will be this Monday the 26th at 10:30am-EST. It looks to be a good show, so don't miss it!
Again just a reminder,
Tonight is our live show. 7:45pm est. Hope to see you all there!
ugh i wish i could listen live tonight. cept im about to fall asleep from the plasma donations....maybe next time.
RIP Motor. Best Cat I Could Ever Ask For.
okay, yea sounds awful, hope you are back 100% soon (if not already)
We will now be operating a live studio cam during our live shows. Starting on Monday with the morning show, you will be able to get an inside peek at what goes into producing a live show.
Please note: we are NOT streaming video with our main audio feed! This camera is a stand-alone feed, with no audio.
Don't forget tonight's show!
Additionally, we are now broadcasting in stereo! Everything now sounds so much better.
I apologize for the delay, but due to a screwed up webhost (they say it is "server trouble") the Amusement Radio website is down, which means no one will be able to access the stream. If it looks like the down time will be awhile, I will post details on how to access the stream directly. I will know by 8oc.
...Whatever you want!
Valentines day is almost here, so that means we have to talk about what YOU love about the industry. During the entire show you may call in and shout out what you like abut the industry. Rides, food, parks, or even the name of the park, if it is fun, you can share the love this Friday @ 7:45 EST.
Amusement Radio Wants YOU! Thats right, we want YOU! Now you may be quaking in fear that this is the new draft, but no, this is a voluntary effort. Now for the question...
Have you been to a theme park?
I'm guessing you said yes, so read on!
Amusement Radio is looking for individuals to talk to about their trip! Thats right, no longer do you have to operate a podcast just to get your voice heard, we will do the hard work for you!
What are we really asking? If you are able and willing, please send an email to "daniel@amusementradio.com" and let me know you want to share your trip report. After we send hundreds of emails back and forth trying to setup a date and time, we will connect via telecommunications (telephone or Skype) and talk for no longer than 30-45 min, though if you are nice we may just chat for hours!
While we talk I will ask you a few questions about the park you visited, and the entire conversation will be recorded. After post production the final park report will be about 15-25min long and have some cool music to go with it. Once it is all done, I will contact you with a date and a time for the first airing of your report on Amusement Radio. After that scheduled airing, your segment will air at random times in the official playlist.
Isn't that cool?
Any requirements? Not really, I will talk to anyone, but I would prefer someone that does not work at the park, or have their own podcast. And of course, the Amusement Radio guidelines do apply with no cussing, or remarks about stuff that is not family friendly.
So, send an email over to daniel@amusementradio.com today to get started!
Thats right, we are going to have Bill Lupfer from the Florida Attractions Association on live tonight to talk about this new legislation in the Florida law books.
Yes, this is about the wavers.
Tune into Amusement Radio tonight @ 7:45pm!
Hey all, sorry I havent posted in a while. School, then work... yada yada.
Just a heads up, we have recently revamped the website, added a second audio server that provides audio at a lower rate for those on a slower connection, and a new sound is on its way!
We will dividing episodes up in half or thirds to provide better flow, and inserting about a 20 second break in between the segments to help new listeners along.
Old shows and episodes will be pulled soon, and played on Sundays only. That way you get the current news the rest of the week.
And of course there are many live shows during the week. Just check the calendar out ont he site to get names and times.
Really cool stuff, I feel sorry for those that miss out!

Another quick update...
My live show (Amusement Radio Live) is in the process of getting a make-over. Every show is getting a little better, and tonight's show was pretty good!
Also, I am looking for some tips. Tips about the rides, parks, or food, if you have a tip about anything in the industry, I want to hear it! If Its a good tip (one that has not seen submitted yet), then you could hear it on-air!
And finally, we do have a phone line. The number is (850) 583-0313. Call for any reason about the industry, the station, show times, park information(hours), or weather, someone (aka myself) here at Amusement Radio should be able to help out with amusement related information. We (I) am usually near a computer so I can look things up.
So what are you waiting for? Tune in!
