We can dream lol. It will be nice to see a nice dark ride in Egypt. All thought I think shooting dark rides are overrated and overdone. There are already 3 in Florida and with Legoland I bet you we will get another one. So I would like to see a really cool/non shooting dark ride for bg
One of these from Mack would be unique and hopefully awesome Hidden Reality Ride
I Hope after the suppose "2011 project" bgt can turn their heads to a good flat ride; a dark ride. Better fit in Egypt. However I can see one in Congo/Jungala/Stanleyville. For example an abandon temple in the jungle. (I was thinking somethings along the lines like this video)
LOL
A mythical temple of some kind in a jungle...anyways that is if they dont want to make one in egypt...just throwing out ideas
Egypt is really lacking!
Whats it got going?
Montu, The ex-Montu gift shop and...the neglected tomb walk through, the "artifact sale" and games of skill.
i call it "EX" cause theres nothing in there anymore with montu on it that i have seen. its all label clothing.....in fact now i think about it...theres no Montu souvenirs around Montu at all. no on-ride photos or gift shop. just the penny press.
^what kind of dark ride would you like in the 4-D theater?
You know thinking about it....altefface came up with a new "5-d" or "6-d" concept in which everyone seats on a revolving circular platform and there is a big screen in front of them and you just shoot at things as you go along. it looks pretty darn neat! I would love to see one of those!
Here is a link to it. Alterface - haunted house - The House - the house news
If you look at the pictures on the bottom you can see the ride itself.
all of you should also check out the whole site, its pretty cool what they have
I would be quite fine with a ride using the same technology as DarKastle.
true, but what about the contracts... SWPE and Universal Orlando are still separate companies competing with each other... would they allow the tech to be used at BGT?
I guess they would be cooL! but I prefer them to be spread around the park instead of keeping them in one area. Also form what people have said the jumper is not that fun
as a side note the official name for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is SEA not SWPE
but i think we all agree Egypt is one area that needs to be improved upon but TBT has the space for a good dark rude upon removal of the theater.
but for Egypt they can take out the Simulator building and the animal attraction and build a decent sized Egyptian Dark Ride....or a heavily themed flat.
^Exactly....Not to mention the idea of removing some of the preferred/handicap parking space and expand. That way we can widen the path. I wonder if BGT is consider anything like this. There is so much potential.
^Brilliant!!!!! But What about the Akbar Building? I think that could be taken down along with the animals connection (i dunno about you guys but that kinda sounds lame) and put the camels there, and BOOM! you have 1 coaster, a dark ride and an animal exhibit 1 one area...EGYPT! It would be really cool!
Tut's Tomb can be transformed into "Tut's Curse" A thrilling dark ride adventure similar to DarKastle but themed to the tomb.
Akbar building has the capability to house a drop tower. A true free fall tower like Drop Zone at Kings Island. Name it "Pharaoh's Revenge". Extend Egypt along the south border of the park to the hamlet. Put camels there.
Roller Coaster....CHECK
Dark ride......... CHECK
Drop Tower...... CHECK
