The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man |

Join forces with Spider-Man and help save the city of New York from
Dr. Octopus. You may be asking if the ride actually lives up to its name of
being amazing. Well, Spider-Man is one of the most technologically advanced
rides in the world and was custom designed by Universal. Not only is the
ride a motion simulator with three dimensional effects, the ride vehicle
moves along a track. The vehicle also spins and can move up or down. Fiber
optics, video, and sound (outfitted within the ride vehicle) are added to
convince riders what they are seeing is real. For example, using a video
screen and movement of the vehicle, riders are convinced they are climbing
and falling from a four hundred foot building. The Amazing Adventures of
Spider-Man is a one of a kind ride and definitely should not be missed.

When to Ride |
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is easily the most popular ride
at Islands of Adventure. The line reaches one hour very quickly,
requiring an early morning ride. Your best option is to either hit the Incredible
Hulk or Spider-Man first, then hit the one you did not ride immediately
after.
-Universal Express
Spider-Man does offer Universal Express passes, however, they
are quickly gone. Be sure to pick one up early in the morning, even though
the time may be late in the afternoon. |
