SeaWorld Orlando

It has been a while since our last visit to SeaWorld Orlando and this visit we look at Viva La Musica, Walk around the park looking at things that have changed, and get a nice look at the demolition and renovations going on at Penguin Plaza for the brand new Antarctica attraction coming in 2013. Around the Park:
Little has really changed, but what has is interesting. the skytower has a brand new sign for when it is closed due to wind stating the bar at it's base remains open, while the snack kiosk nearby has a permanent sign. Some new games have appeared around ...

Bands Brew and BBQ is back at SeaWorld and bigger than ever. This year the celebration for Barbeque, music, and beer is all weekend long with concerts on both Saturday and Sunday! We were at the festival Saturday Feb 11 to check it out.

The Food:
The venders for BBQ have changed and include personal favorite Bubbalou’s Bodacious Bar B Que as well as SeaWorld's famous offerings and fan favorite Sonny’s. Each tent has a different set of offerings with SeaWorld even offering a Shrimp Po Boy. The only offering I tried this visit was the Smoked pulled turkey at Bubbalous, which tasted amazing. ...

With Bands Brew and BBQ happening at the park we found a reason to go back, however thanks to a recent cold front the Sky Tower was closed due to high winds, None the less we attempted to bring you the latest in demolition going on at Penguin Plaza which will eventually become "Antarctica" In fact the maps have been updated once again changing the dirt mound and adding the test for the coming attraction.

In other random news while driving down the road to get to the park we passed these random ...

The penguin plaza closed on January 02, 2012 and quickly went into demolition mode. Recently many of the canopies and marquees were demolished from the plaza area.
On the ground this is what can be seen, The entire plaza is off limits so you can see if from Either next to the Sealion Habitat or over near Kraken / Jouney to Atlantis. Mind you this causes a huge Dead end at the back of the park as the map shows.

The Terrace Garden was a popular place to have a nice sandwich and relax but last summer it was transformed. The Terrace Gardens is now an unlimited pizza, pasta, and salad buffet. Below is review as well as features of the restaurant.

Restaurant Features
Salad: The salad is pre-made and has three choices: a garden salad, antipasti, and Cesar salad.

Pasta: The pasta station includes three types of pasta and three sauces. The pasta includes Farfalle (Bow-Tie), penne, and another option. The sauces include Marinara, Alfredo, and a meat sauce. The offerings are all delicious and you can have as little or as much sauce for the pasta. If ...
